The Backyard Discovery Beaumont 12 x 12 expands the classic cedar pergola design into a broad square footprint suited to outdoor dining, lounge furniture, garden seating, or a defined entertaining area. Its open multi-level trellis roof adds structure and filtered light without fully enclosing the patio.

The Beaumont is built from 100% cedar wood and uses dual structural cross beams, substantial 6 x 6-inch posts, decorative corbels, and metal hardware to create a sturdy freestanding pergola with traditional styling. The open trellis roof allows sunlight and airflow through the structure and should not be treated as a fully waterproof solid roof.
Backyard Discovery’s Pro-Tect™ testing rates the pergola for winds up to 100 mph when it is assembled and anchored exactly as directed in the current manufacturer instructions. Heavy-duty powder-coated galvanized-steel anchor plates and resin post feet help support a stable installation on a suitable prepared surface.
The included PowerPort™ provides three standard electrical outlets and three USB ports for compatible outdoor lighting, speakers, charging, and other accessories. It requires connection to an external power source, which is not included.
Assembly & Site Planning
The cedar components arrive pre-cut, pre-drilled, and pre-stained, with guided assembly support available through the BILT® app. Depending on climate and the current manufacturer maintenance instructions, the wood may require a compatible sealant or periodic care.
