The Backyard Discovery Ashland 14 x 10 combines the open, architectural look of a cedar pergola with a built-in entertaining zone. Its 7-foot serving bar gives the structure a practical focal point for drinks, food, casual seating, or outdoor prep, while the multi-level trellis roof keeps the space open to natural light.

Construction & Outdoor Performance
Built from 100% cedar wood, the Ashland is designed as a substantial freestanding outdoor structure with a warm, natural appearance. The frame is reinforced with structural beams and metal hardware, and the pergola is Pro-Tect™ tested to withstand winds up to 100 mph when it is anchored exactly as directed in the manufacturer instructions.
The integrated PowerPort™ adds three standard electrical outlets and three USB ports, so lighting, small devices, speakers, or other outdoor accessories can be powered from the pergola when it is connected to an external power source. The power source itself is not included.
The 7-foot bar stands about 39 inches high and is useful for serving guests or pairing with bar-height seating. The open trellis roof can also support the visual look of hanging décor or climbing plants without turning the pergola into a fully enclosed roof.
Assembly & Site Planning
