Cancellation Policy

1. Before Shipment

You may request cancellation before the order has been handed to the carrier. Contact us as soon as possible with your order number, full name, and the email address used for the purchase.

2. Cancellation Confirmation

A cancellation request is not complete until True Yard Buildings confirms the cancellation. Orders can move quickly through fulfillment, so we cannot guarantee that a request will stop an order that has already entered carrier possession.

3. After Shipment

Once an order has been handed to the carrier, it can no longer be canceled. You may request a return within 90 calendar days of delivery under our Refund & Returns Policy.

4. Wrong Item Ordered

Contact us immediately. If the order has not shipped, we can attempt to cancel the incorrect item so you can place the correct order. If it has shipped, the return policy applies.

5. Partial Cancellations

If an order contains multiple products, we may be able to cancel only the unshipped item or items. Approved partial cancellations are refunded to the original payment method.

6. Cancellations by True Yard Buildings

We may cancel an order if an item is unavailable, payment cannot be verified, the delivery address cannot be serviced, a material pricing or listing error occurred, or a fraud, legal, safety, or delivery restriction prevents fulfillment.

7. Shipping Delays & Your Cancellation Choice

If we learn that we cannot ship within the delivery estimate communicated for your order, we will provide a delay notice and a revised estimate when available. Where required by law, you may agree to the revised shipping date or cancel the unshipped order for a full refund. If we cannot fulfill an order, we will cancel it and refund the amount paid rather than issue store credit.

A carrier delay after shipment is handled under our Shipping Policy and does not reduce your rights under the 90-day return policy.

8. Refund Timing

After cancellation is confirmed, we will void an unsettled authorization or issue a refund to the original payment method. Settled cancellation refunds are processed within 7 business days. Your bank may need additional time to post the refund.

9. Installation Scheduling

If an eligible order included free installation, an approved cancellation before shipment also cancels related installation scheduling. If the product has already shipped, the return process applies.
