Terms of Service

1. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to place an order. You are responsible for accurate account, billing, shipping, and contact information and for protecting your account credentials.

2. Products & Descriptions

We work to present accurate product names, brand and manufacturer identity, model information, images, dimensions, specifications, materials, finishes, availability, and pricing. Where a product is identified as Backyard Discovery, it is presented as a Backyard Discovery product sold by True Yard Buildings LLC. Manufacturer updates, natural material variation, production tolerances, photography, and display settings may create reasonable differences.

We may correct material listing or pricing errors before fulfillment. If an affected order cannot be fulfilled as placed, we will notify you and refund any amount collected for the canceled item.

3. Orders & Payment

Orders are placed with True Yard Buildings LLC as the retailer and are subject to acceptance, payment verification, product availability, delivery eligibility, and fraud-prevention review. Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars. Eligible card payments are processed securely through Stripe or another payment provider identified at checkout.

Applicable taxes and any non-standard service charges are shown before order completion or separately agreed before they are added.

4. Shipping, Freight & Delivery

Eligible orders ship within the contiguous United States, including the District of Columbia. Standard parcel shipping and standard curbside freight shipping are free for eligible orders. Large or heavy products may ship by LTL freight, may require a delivery appointment, and are delivered curbside or to the end of the driveway unless another service is confirmed in writing.

Delivery timing follows the estimate communicated for the individual order. Delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees and may be affected by carrier scheduling, weather, access restrictions, regional availability, product availability, manufacturer lead times, fulfillment location, or other conditions. If we learn that an unshipped order cannot ship within the estimate communicated for that order, we will provide a delay notice and a revised estimate when available. Where required by law, the customer may accept the revised shipping date or cancel the unshipped order for a full refund. A carrier delay after shipment does not reduce rights under our 90-day return policy.

5. Assembly & Installation

Many outdoor structures require assembly, anchoring, and site preparation. True Yard Buildings LLC offers free installation for eligible products or orders only when the service is expressly confirmed in the product page, order, or scheduling communication.

Customers remain responsible for permits, zoning, HOA rules, utility locating, site access, and a suitable installation area unless a written service description states otherwise.

6. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Eligible defective and non-defective products may be returned within 90 calendar days of delivery. Approved returns have no restocking fee and authorized return shipping is covered by True Yard Buildings LLC. Orders may be canceled before carrier handoff; once shipped, the return process applies.

7. Warranties

Manufacturer warranty coverage, including any Backyard Discovery manufacturer warranty, varies by product and applies only when stated on the product page, manufacturer documentation, or other written warranty material. True Yard Buildings LLC assists as the retailer; our 90-day return policy is separate from manufacturer warranty coverage.

8. Acceptable Use

• Do not violate applicable law or submit fraudulent information.
• Do not attempt unauthorized access to the website or another customer account.
• Do not interfere with website security, availability, or operation.
• Do not use automated tools to copy protected content without permission.

9. Intellectual Property

Original True Yard Buildings branding, graphics, page layouts, and written content are owned by or licensed to True Yard Buildings LLC. Backyard Discovery trademarks, product names, logos, images, model references, and manufacturer documentation remain the property of their respective owner or licensors. Use of product brand information on our store identifies products offered for sale and does not make True Yard Buildings LLC the manufacturer.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, True Yard Buildings LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from website use, carrier delays, improper assembly, site conditions, misuse, or unauthorized modifications. Nothing here limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Governing Law & Changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, except where applicable consumer-protection law requires otherwise. We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, providers, business practices, or legal obligations.
