Cedar Construction & Outdoor Use
The Somerville uses cedar posts, beams, roof members, and decorative architectural details to create a freestanding patio pergola with a traditional appearance. The open trellis roof provides filtered light rather than the full rain protection of a solid or louvered roof.
The included PowerPort™ provides three standard electrical outlets and three USB ports for compatible lighting, charging, speakers, and other outdoor accessories. An external power source is required and is not included.
Assembly & Site Planning
Install the pergola on a suitable level base and anchor it according to the current Backyard Discovery instructions. Review clearances, permits, HOA rules, local requirements, and any recommended cedar sealing or maintenance before assembly.
