Description
Beaumont 10 ft. x 10 ft. Outdoor Patio Pergola
The Backyard Discovery Beaumont 10 x 10 brings the classic look of a cedar pergola to a more compact patio, garden, or outdoor seating area. Its open multi-level trellis roof helps define the space while allowing sunlight and airflow, making it suitable for dining sets, lounge furniture, planters, or an outdoor conversation area.
Key Features
- 10 x 10 ft. nominal footprint with approximately 100 sq. ft. of coverage
- 100% cedar wood construction with natural resistance to decay
- Traditional multi-level trellis roof with decorative corbels
- Dual structural cross beams and robust support posts
- PowerPort™ with 3 electrical outlets and 3 USB ports
- Pro-Tect™ wind tested up to 100 mph when anchored as directed
- Heavy-duty anchoring components for stable installation
- 5-year limited manufacturer warranty
Construction & Outdoor Performance
The Beaumont is built from 100% cedar wood and uses reinforced cross-beam construction, substantial posts, galvanized hardware, and decorative details to combine traditional styling with structural support. The open trellis design provides partial light and shade rather than the full weather coverage of a solid or louvered roof.
Backyard Discovery’s Pro-Tect™ testing rates the structure for winds up to 100 mph when the pergola is assembled and anchored exactly as specified in the manufacturer instructions. Correct anchoring and a suitable installation surface are required for the published performance rating.
The included PowerPort™ provides three standard electrical outlets and three USB ports for compatible outdoor lighting, speakers, charging, or other accessories. The PowerPort must be connected to an external power source, which is not included.
Assembly & Site Planning
The cedar components arrive pre-cut, pre-drilled, and pre-stained, with guided assembly support available through the BILT® app. Depending on climate and the current manufacturer instructions, the wood may require a compatible sealant or periodic maintenance to help preserve its appearance and outdoor performance.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are the listed dimensions the usable space between the posts?
Not necessarily. The dimensions above describe the overall product size stored for this listing. Post spacing, roof overhang, foundation points, and usable interior area can be different. Verify the dimension diagram and manual for this model.
Does this pergola need to be anchored?
Yes. Outdoor structures must be assembled and anchored according to the exact model instructions. Any published performance rating depends on correct installation and the required foundation and anchors.
Can it be installed on an existing patio or deck?
Only if that surface and its supporting structure are suitable for the loads and approved anchoring method. Concrete thickness, reinforcement, edge distance, deck framing, condition, and local code may affect the answer.
Do I need a permit?
Permit, setback, engineering, and HOA requirements vary by location and installation. Check with the authority having jurisdiction before ordering or starting foundation work.
